# Quivvo pricing

Quivvo bills running machines by the second: $0.005 per vCPU-hour and $0.011 per GiB-hour of memory, plus $0.20 per GiB-month of disk while a machine exists. A 2 vCPU, 4 GiB machine costs $0.054 an hour while it runs.

## What does a machine cost per hour?

| Size | vCPUs | Memory | Per running hour |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| `small` | 1 | 2 GiB | $0.027 |
| `medium` (default) | 2 | 4 GiB | $0.054 |
| `large` | 4 | 8 GiB | $0.108 |
| `xlarge` | 8 | 16 GiB | $0.216 |

Suspended and stopped machines pay only for disk. Disk is charged per GiB-month, so a 10 GiB disk costs $2.00 a month. Snapshots are charged at the same rate for the size of the disk they copied, from when they're ready until you delete them.

## What are the plans?

| Plan | Price | Credit | Running at once | Machines | Largest machine | Disk per machine | Snapshots |
| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
| Free | Free | $5 once | 1 | 3 | 2 vCPUs, 4 GiB | Up to 20 GiB | 3 |
| Pro | $20 a month | $20 a month | 25 | 200 | 8 vCPUs, 16 GiB | Up to 200 GiB | Unlimited |
| Team | $100 a month | $100 a month | 100 | 1000 | 8 vCPUs, 16 GiB | Up to 500 GiB | Unlimited |

Credit is US dollars. Usage comes off your balance every minute, and plans add credit each month. Credit doesn't expire. Top-ups come in $10, $25, $50 and $100.

New accounts wait in a queue for now, and the credit arrives with their turn. Each person who signs up with your invite link moves you up 10 places, and a paid plan skips it.

## What happens when credit runs out?

Running machines are suspended, or stopped where suspending can't be done, and you can start them again once you top up. If credit stays empty, we email you, then delete your machines and snapshots 7 days later, or 30 days if you've ever paid. Disks and snapshots are charged until then, so a balance can dip below zero. See [machines](https://tryquivvo.com/docs/machines) for the full rules.
