Questions
Do I need a card?
No. New accounts get $5 of credit, once per email address. They wait in a queue for now, and the credit arrives with their turn. You need a card only to buy a plan or a top-up.
Does credit expire?
No. Plan credit and top-ups stay until you spend them. Usage comes off your balance every minute, and top-ups come in $10, $25, $50 and $100.
What do I pay while a machine sleeps?
Only its disk, at $0.20 per GiB-month: $2.00 a month for 10 GiB. A machine sleeps after 30 idle minutes by default, and wakes when your agent runs a command in it. Snapshots cost the same as disk, for the size of the disk they copied.
What happens when credit runs out?
Running machines are suspended, and you can start them again once you top up. If credit stays empty, we email you before anything is deleted. The full rules.
